A man is fighting for life after being struck by a car in Kew

A jogger has suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car.

Police believe the man, who is yet to be identified was out jogging in Kew.

He was hit by a red hatchback that was turning right from Cotham Road onto Normanby Road just before 11 last night.

He suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital in Melbourne.

The driver of the red hatchback was not injured and is said to be assisting police with their enquiries.
