LOVE ON THE ICE
Head down to the O’Brien Group Arena Ice Rink in the Docklands on Saturday or Sunday from 4.30pm – midnight and you can can skate, dance and dazzle your significant other to romantic melodies on the ice before warming up inside the St Moritz Bar with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Capture your special night by taking a photo under the rose archway, share the pic on Instagram and you might even bag yourself a romantic private ice skating lesson for two.
JUST OPEN
Scorchy and I popped into ‘Up in Smoke’ in Footscray. Housed in an old tyre shop on Dynon Rd, it’s bound to be almost as busy as the owners’ other local joint 8bit burgers. Meat galore, a big fat smoker and a great bar, it’s definitely worth a look. Don’t count on parking close by, I’d head down toward Conways Fish for a spot.
