A new US study has officially busted the myth that cats don’t like people

A new study has found that cats actually have a soft spot for humans, despite popular opinion!

The US study involved placing 50 cats separately in a room with a toy, some catnip (or similar) and a person.

The overall result found that half of those cats preferred the company of the person. 

In a true-love styled story, Austin called in to 3AW to declare his love for his cat, Kitty.

He suggested to Tom Elliott that Kitty listens to 3AW while he is out of the house!
