A severe weather warning has been issued for parts of Victoria

Victoria is bracing for more wild weather today.

A severe weather warning for damaging winds with peak gusts of 100 kilometres an hour.

Hardest hit will be in coastal and elevated parts of the central forecast district, this includes the metropolitan area. 

122 kilometre an hour gusts have already been recorded in Alpine areas.

There’s also a gale warning on the bays and a flood watch in the state’s north east.
