‘A third’: The worrying stat a study has found about teens online

A study has found a third of teenagers have come across content promoting harmful sun tanning in the last month.

Paediatrician and director of the Royal Children’s Hospital National Child Health Poll Dr Anthea Rhodes says teens are coming across a lot of myths and disinformation online.

“Worryingly, often they follow that advice even if they’re not sure whether it’s scientifically accurate, whether it’s true or untrue,” she told Ross and Russ.
