‘Absolute joke’: Former footballer’s thoughts on the handling of Izak Rankine’s suspension

Ex-premiership player and media personality Will Schofield has called the handling of Izak Rankine’s impending suspension an “absolute joke”.

The AFL has granted Adelaide until Thursday morning to respond to the league’s ‘proposed determinations’ over an alleged homophobic slur by Crows star Izak Rankine.

“Are you kidding me … he’s either done it or he hasn’t done it. The penalty is what it is,” Schofield said on Wide World of Sports.
