‘Absolute miracle’: Police shocked after spectacular crash outside school

Police believe excessive speed was to blame for a spectacular crash outside Dandenong Primary School this morning.

The Volkswagen took out traffic lights, crashed through two fences, and rolled several times before coming to rest against a building around 2am.

A teenager is in a serious condition in hospital while two other men aged in their 20s are being questioned by police.

Sergeant Luke Holmes it’s a “miracle” any of them survived.

“One of the males was ejected from the vehicle,” he said.

“When you have a look at the vehicle, the fact that two of the walked away is an absolute miracle.”
