‘Absolute scumbags’: Sleeping teenager threatened with knife in shocking home invasion

Jacqui Felgate has lifted the lid on a shocking home invasion where a sleeping teenager was targeted with a machete.

Victoria Police have confirmed they’re investigating an incident in the early hours of Monday morning in Armadale, where a 17-year-old was threatened with a knife, while two other alleged offenders waited outside.

The 3AW Drive host said the latest incident should trigger the Allan government to rush through reforms to machete laws.

“That is a child in their bed threatened with a machete,” she said.

“These are absolute scumbags … that is just horrific and not good enough.”
