‘Absurd’: Craig Foster and Tom Elliott debate pledge request from the King

The co-chair of the Australian Republic Movement is calling on Anthony Albanese to “politely decline” pledging an oath to King Charles when he’s crowned this weekend.

Craig Foster told Tom Elliott it was “bizarre, ridiculous and absurd” the Prime Minister would be asked to do it.

But Tom Elliott disagrees.
