Adelaide forward Tom Lynch spends two nights in intensive care

Adelaide is unsure when forward Tom Lynch will return to football after spending the past two nights in intensive care.

He’s been suffering from viral meningitis, but expected to make a full recovery.

“Tom became unwell earlier in the week and subsequent tests revealed a viral infection,” Crows club doctor Marc Cesana said in a statement.

“He is already on the improve and we expect him to return to the club next week when a decision on his availability will be made.”
