Adele request sparks big change for music streamer

Adele has managed to force music streaming giant Spotify to make a big change.

The music streamer removed the option to press shuffle from album landing pages after the British singer said she requested it prior to the release of her new album.

She said artists selected songs on an album in order for a reason and wants listeners to experience the album in that way.

“It’s something of a lost art, but I hope people can revisit and relive it again,” Tyler Jenke, Rolling Stone Australia Editor, told Tom Elliott.
