Advice message issued after Coolaroo factory fire

An advice message has been issued following a factory fire at Coolaroo in Melbourne’s north.

Fire crews were first called to a factory in Lisa Place just before 5am.

They brought the blaze under control in about half an hour.

Smoke is visible in the area, and is moving in a southerly direction.

Maffra Street is closed.

While there’s no current threat to the community, those in the area are urged to monitor conditions and stay informed.
