Advocate for Palestinians says safe civilian evacuation from Gaza is ‘near impossible’

An Australian lawyer who is trying to facilitate safe exit for Palestinians trapped in the Gaza strip says it’s “near impossible” to imagine a safe evacuation.

Lawyer on the executive committee of the Australian Palestinian Advocacy Network, Ramia Abdo Sultan, says “there’s no way out”.

“We know earlier last week there were those who did follow some orders only to be met with targeted attack and 80 lost their lives … at the border,” she told 3AW’s Tony Moclair.
