AFL boss Gillon McLachlan ‘doesn’t agree’ with Sam Newman comments

AFL boss Gillon McLachlan says he’s unaware of any investigation into controversial comments made by Sam Newman on The Footy Show.

It’s been reported the Australian Communications and Media Authority has received several complaints after Newman weighed into the Eddie McGuire-Caroline Wilson controversy on Wednesday.

McLachlan said he didn’t agree with Newman, but he was unaware of any investigation.

‘I clearly don’t agree with Sam, but he has very strong positions like this from time to time,’ he told Neil Mitchell on 3AW.
