AFL unveils new illicit drugs policy
AFL players who take illicit drugs will get just one chance to curb their ways before being named and shamed.
The AFL unveiled its new policy on Wednesday.
UNDER THE NEW RULES…
- $5000 suspended fine and counselling (1st detection).
- Four-game suspension, $5000 fine and player is named publicly (2nd detection).
- 12-match suspension (3rd detection).
