Aged care residents in Melbourne’s south-east left without hot water for three days

Residents at an aged care facility in Melbourne’s south-east have been without hot water for three days.

Holland, a resident at Bupa Aged Care in Bonbeach, told Heidi Murphy, filling in on 3AW Mornings, he hasn’t been able to have a hot shower for days and “management have had no explanation as to when it’s going to be fixed”.

3AW Mornings has spoken to facility management which has confirmed parts of the facility have been without hot water for the last three days. Residents have been offered alternative shower facilities and management expects the hot water problem will be fixed today.
