Alarming research warns of Victoria Police mass exodus
Research from RMIT and Swinburne University has found Victoria Police is facing a mass exodus of frontline officers with one in five admitting they’re likely to leave in the next year.
Secretary of the Victorian Police Association, Wayne Gatt, says he believes the research.
“I’m seeing record high level of attrition now … I do believe it because we’ve got holes in the frontline,” he told Ross and Russel.
