Alastair Clarkson signs three-year coaching extension with Hawthorn

Legendary Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson has signed a three-year coaching extension.

Hawks CEO Stuart Fox broke the news on 3AW Football on Friday.

The four-time premiership coach had always been expected to stay with the Hawks, but had not put pen to paper.

That changed on Friday.

‘It’s all done,’ Fox said on 3AW Football.

‘We agreed to terms around six to eight weeks ago.’

The contract will keep Clarkson at the club until at least the end of the 2019 season.
