All V/Line services halted: Passengers warned to expect ‘significant delays’

All V/Line trains were temporarily halted just before 10.30am.

In a tweet, the regional rail carrier blamed a communications fault.

Services have now resumed, but passengers are being told to expect delays of up to 90 minutes.

Due to a communications fault, all V/Line train services will be held in place until further notice. As a result, customers can expect significant delays of up to 90 minutes.
