Alleged carjacker arrested and charged after crash splits car in two

Police have arrested and charged a man following an alleged carjacking and subsequent crash in Seabrook last week.

Leading Senior Constable Jody Clayton told Ross and Russ, “We allege that the car was stolen from the Laverton railway station only minutes before [the driver] failed to negotiate the roundabout at a fast rate of speed, struck the gutter and crashed into the tree.”
