Alleged offenders attempt escape via irrigation channel following drug bust worth millions in Victoria’s north-west
Four people have been charged after police busted a cannabis crop at a rural property in a town between Cohuna and Kerang.
Victoria Police Media Advisor Adam West says five people fled, with some attempting a getaway via an irrigation channel when police arrived at the property.
“You can see some of our alleged offenders scarper away there in their high-vis tops, which probably isn’t a good idea if you’re trying to run away from us,” he told Ross and Russ.
