Alleged racial attack on Melbourne-bound train
Passengers on the South Morang train line have been subjected to racial abuse.
Two men and a woman boarded the train on Wednesday morning, then allegedly racially attacked another man and a woman.
The group eventually removed themselves from the train at Northcote station.
Megan, who was a passenger on the train, told 3AW Drive it was a horrible incident that was clearly racially motivated.
‘It was unprovoked altogether; there was absolutely no malice from any of the individuals sitting on the train’.
Megan said passengers were just minding their own business and were left shaken after the incident.
Metro Trains are aware of the incident and investigating, the incident has also been referred to Victoria Police.
