Almandin part owner Michael Gudinski

Michael Gudinski is well known for being the godfather of Australian music through Frontier Touring, but today he was involved in another show.

Gudinski is a part-owner of Almandin, the 2016 Melbourne Cup winner.

‘I’m very privileged,’ he told Ross Greenwood.

‘I’m the best partner they can have because I would never ever tell them what to do with a jockey or how to run a race, like I wouldn’t expect them to tell me how to run a concert.’

Gudinski says winning the Melbourne Cup was one of the last things on his bucket list.
