Almost a quarter of PCR tests come back positive as Victoria sets new daily record
Victoria has set a new daily COVID-19 case record and almost one-in-four PCR results received yesterday came back positive.
There were 14,020 new cases of the virus recorded in the state yesterday from 60,515 tests.
Another two people with the virus have died.
There are 516 people in hospital with the virus, including 108 in ICU (56 active and 52 cleared) and 24 on ventilators.
There are now 48,297 active cases of COVID-19 across the state.
