Almost half of Victoria’s roads in poor condition according to new report

Almost half of the state’s government-managed roads are in poor or very poor condition, according to a new report from the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office.

Snap Send Solve chief executive Danny Gorog told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft that so many roads across the state are “flat-out dangerous”.

“I’m not sure why we in Victoria need to drive on roads that are incredibly dangerous and badly maintained,” he said.
