‘Always pleasant’: Former student of Robert Walls shares sentimental tribute

A former student of Robert Walls has opened up about her experience with the former premiership player who passed away following a battle with a rare, aggressive form of cancer.

Robyn told 3AW Afternoons host Tony Moclair she had fond memories of her former teacher, who was “always pleasant”.

“And then, believe it or not, in 1999 I was in a medical centre in Croydon … and he walks in and he sits down next to me and we start talking about the school,” she said.
