‘Amazing result’: Melbourne beats out major cities for big worldwide honour

Melbourne has been crowned the best city in the world, on Time Out’s annual list of the 50 top cities.

Editor in chief for Time Out Australia Alice Ellis explained how they rank the top 50, and Melbourne lord mayor Nick Reece expressed his pleasure at the result.

“Today, Melbourne is on top of the world, and it’s been a true team effort,” Reece said on 3AW Drive.
