Australia’s Ambassador to France has told Ross and John about his admiration for Emma Parkinson, the Australian woman injured in the deadly terror attacks on Paris.

Stephen Brady greeted Miss Parkinson, 19, as she woke from the anaesthetic for surgery on her gunshot wound.

‘I was really impressed by just how composed she was and how she was processing something as traumatic as what she’s seen and what she’s had done to her,’ Mr Brady said.

‘She’s doing well.’

He also told of the atmosphere in Paris, and his shock that more Australians weren’t hurt.
