Ambulance called after teenager hit by truck in Langwarrin
The air ambulance has been called after a teenager was hit by a truck in Melbourne’s outer south-east.
The incident happened on Cranbourne Road in Langwarrin.
An eyewitness told Neil Mitchell the pedestrian collapsed after stepping off the kerb and being struck by a garbage stuck.
The teenager suffered abdominal, pelvic, and leg injuries, and has been flown to the Royal Melbourne hospital.
She’s the second pedestrian serious injured on Melbourne roads today, after a man was hit by a car in the CBD around 5.30am.
A further five pedestrians have been killed in the past week.
