Ambulance Union secretary provides concerning update on ambulance availability

There are more concerns over ambulance availability with more shifts again going unfilled, including vital intensive care paramedic shifts.

It comes after a concerning tip Jacqui Felgate received earlier in the week, which prompted Ambulance Victoria CEO to respond.

And Ambulance Union Secretary Danny Hill has provided a concerning update on the amount of ambulances that are unstaffed today.

“Certainly not feeling any better about it,” Mr Hill said.

“It’s not sustainable, there needs to be more permanent recruitment.”
