Ambulance Victoria boss clashes with Neil Mitchell, defends decision to launch new ‘values’ policy

Ambulance Victoria CEO Jane Miller has defended the decision to hold a five hour function for 70 senior staff at Chadstone Hotel to launch the organisation’s new “values” policy.

The event has angered paramedics as Ambulance Victoria had previously cancelled award ceremonies to save money.

Ms Miller told Neil Mitchell the values policies were developed with the assistance of external consultants, as the organisation seeks to act on the dozens of recommendations from a report into workplace culture.
