An alarming number of Aussies are working through their lunch break
More and more Australians are working through their lunch break.
A new survey has shown 23 per cent of Australians work through their break every day, while only 10 per cent of respondents said they never work through lunch.
It has given rise to concerns about the culture we’re creating at work.
Amantha Imber, CEO a business management consultancy, told Ross and John taking lunch at your desk also has negative effect on productivity.
“Those that take a lunch break feel significantly more energised come the end of the work day,” Ms Imber said.
