An influx of Chinese tourists has helped grow the small town of Sea Lake

The small town of Sea Lake as gone viral, and the Chinese are loving it.
It all started with a quick snap uploaded to social media, then BOOM!
They have hda to learn to embrace the ongoing flock of tourists.
Sea Lake is 400kms from Melbourne and has a population of around 600.
Ross and Kate spoke with Jane Stacey, head of the Chinese Tourism Steering Committee at Sea Lake.
‘They’re coming to look at our beautiful stars and the salt lake’
‘We’ve had to put signs around the lake to stop them camping out there’
There are no toilet or shower facilities anywhere nearby, so they encourage tourists to stay in town.
