Andrews Government to spend $32 million on special drug court
The Andrews Government is spending $32 million setting up a special drug court.
It’s hoped it will drive down the use of ice and crime.
The new court will provide the capacity for another 170 offenders and will ease pressure on the existing court at Dandenong.
Figures reveal a 40 per cent success rate.
17 per cent become drug free, with a 23 per cent rate of reducing drug dependency.
