Angus Taylor vows to rein in spending and shares stance on US-Iran war
Federal opposition leader Angus Taylor has revealed what a Liberal government would do to bring down inflation.
Speaking on 3AW Mornings, he says they would rein in government spending.
“We’ve already announced areas and talked about areas where we know spending is not necessary … they’ve set up slush funds for green hydrogen that are going nowhere,” he said.

He’s also standing by the US and Israel and their role in the conflict in the Middle East.
“We strongly support that, this Iranian regime is no friend of Australia, no freedom-loving person should be shedding tears over the death of the Ayatollah,” he added.
“Regime change in the Middle East is always difficult … but all of us need to be barracking for the Iranian people to re-establish peace, democracy and freedom.”
