Another council under fire for avoiding rate cap with controversial new fees

The Mornington Peninsula council is the latest council to come under fire for avoiding the rate cap by “following the lead” of other councils, says the vice president of Council Watch.

Dean Hurlston took aim at the council over the move.

“Councils have not learned the lesson to live within their means,” he said on 3AW Drive.
