Anthony Albanese hits back at Paul Keating after scathing spray

Anthony Albanese says it’s “unfortunate” Paul Keating chose to turn to personal attacks while criticising the AUKUS submarine deal.

Mr Keating launched into an extraordinary spray against the deal at the National Press Club on Wednesday afternoon, labelling Anthony Albanese, Richard Marles and Penny Wong as “seriously unwise ministers” who have made “the worst international decision” made by a Labor government.

Speaking with Neil Mitchell, Anthony Albanese responded to Mr Keating’s vitriolic spray.
