Anthony Albanese weighs in on protest targeting jewish students at Monash University overnight

Anthony Albanese has called the actions of pro-Palestinian protesters, who targeted jewish students at Monash University overnight, “provocative”.

He says people have the right to protest, but they should do so, respectfully.

“How they protest, reflects on whether that protest is winning support, or losing support,” he told Tom Elliott.

He also says he sees tragedy in the protests.

“Israelis and Palestinians have a common interest in being able to live in peace and security,’ he said.
