Antique anchor discovered in dried lake in Victoria’s south-west

The searing summer has dried up a lake in Victoria’s south-west, revealing a century-old anchor.

The Rumour File heard on Tuesday that it took a crane to extract the anchor.

It is unknown as yet whether this discovery is related to the disappearance of an antique anchor stolen from this Williamstown pub.
