Any changes to Victorian mask rules to be made today
A decision on whether Victorians will again be required to wear a mask in all indoor settings will be made today.
They’re already required in retail, on public transport and for hospitality workers.
But senior government officials met on Wednesday night to decide whether that needs to change amid concern about COVID-19 spread over the Christmas and New Year period.
Health Minister Martin Foley will ultimately have the final say, under Victoria’s new pandemic legislation.
