Archbishop of Melbourne phones 3AW to say he’s done with the Bombers

The Archbishop of Melbourne admits he no longer feels welcome as an Essendon supporter after Andrew Thorburn was forced to resign as CEO due to his links with a church.

Peter Comensoli rang Neil Mitchell on Wednesday after hearing the issue discussed on 3AW.

“I will be going and looking elsewhere, I think,” he said.
