Ash Barty shocks tennis world with retirement

Ash Barty has quit tennis.
The world No.1 announced the shock news on Wednesday.
“I am so thankful for everything this sport has given me and leave feeling proud and fulfilled,” she wrote on social media.
Barty departs the sport at the peak of her powers, dominating her way to the Australian Open title in January.
She has also won Wimbledon and the French Open.
The news is a massive surprise, given she is just 25.
