Assistant Treasurer Kelly O’Dwyer stumbles on the TTR scheme

Assistant Treasurer Kelly O’Dwyer has been forced to concede the government’s changes to superannuation would affect lower and middle income earners. 

Neil Mitchell continued to probe the Coalition’s Transition to Retirement scheme on 3AW Mornings, questioning the senior cabinet minister six times as to whether it was a new tax.

He implored the Coalition to be ‘honest’ about the TTR.

It follows yesterday’s interview with Julie Bishop on 3AW Mornings, when she was caught out in a self-prescribed ‘gotcha’ moment discussing the scheme.
