Athletes push for IOC to rip up Rule 50 of Olympic Charter

Athletes are pushing hard for the International Olympic Committee to rip up Rule 50 of the Olympic Charter, which bans protests at the games.

The Global Athletes group says it’s a breach of human rights.

Tom Elliott spoke about it with Emeritus Professor David Rowe, from the Institute for Culture and Society at Western Sydney University.
