Australia a world leader in medical misdiagnosis research, says Fellow

Medical misdiagnosis remains a very real issue and Australia is leading the way in finding a solution.

Senior Research Fellow at Bond University Dr Raymond Moynihan told Neil Mitchell Australia is “leading the world” is finding a way to curb the problem.

“There’s a lot of research going into this in Australia,” he said on 3AW Mornings.

“We’re trying to establish how big the problem is and how much it’s costing as well as how many people are being harmed.

“We’re also trying to facilitate a discussion on how to address it.”
