Australia: Home of the loudest burp

Australia has a new world champion.

Well, it’s not quite official, but the prestigious NT News newspaper has done tests with Humpty Doo man Nev Sharp (pictured above) to prove he is the loudest burper in the world.

The Guinness World Records show that Paul Hunn from the UK is the current champion, but there’s an application pending for Nev The Gassy.
