Australia lagging behind the world for wildlife protection

Australia is lagging behind when it comes to protecting our wildlife.

Melbourne Zoo’s Rachel Lowry told Tom Elliott days like World Wildlife Day can start the conversation about how to protect our native fauna.

‘Australia has the worst record for species extinctions anywhere in the world,’ Ms Lowry said.

But there are plenty of things we can do to help.
