Australia Post has come under attack over a controversial policy with vision-impaired customers.

Sal Ribbera told Tom Elliott his vision-impaired wife Fiona recently ran into trouble when an employee refused to fill out the details on a package she wanted sent overseas.

‘They’ve been told not to fill out any form,’ Sal explained.

Australia Post has since apologised to Sal and Fiona, but says the employee was uncomfortable filling out the form because of potential customs issues.

Sal says he will be following it up further.
