Wedding dress maker Vicki posted a dress on December 8, but it still hasn’t arrived.

“It was sitting in the distribution centre for nine days until I really kicked up a stink,” she told Tony Jones, filling in for Neil Mitchell.

Despite the anecdotal experiences shared with 3AW Mornings, Australia Post says Christmas deliveries are “going very well”.

A spokesperson says items sent before the recommended sending dates should arrive in time.

In Melbourne, more than 600,000 parcels have been delivered by Australia Post every day for the past five days.

Customers that need help or support are advised to call 13POST.
