Australia Post to investigate pile of mail ‘dumped’ out west

Neil Mitchell has been sent a massive pile of mail a bus driver found dumped at Werribee.

It’s not the first time, either.

There were letters, bills, notices from VicRoads, the tax office and bank statements.

“It really concerns me,” Neil said.

He spoke with Steve Gado, who found the mail and sent it in.

Australia Post says it’s investigating.

We are currently investigating the report of mail found in Wyndham Vale.

Any theft of mail, including out of letterboxes, is a criminal matter and we call on the public to report any suspected incidents to the police.

We urge people to ensure their letterboxes are secure and mail is cleared regularly.
